Privacy Policy

GoViralPromo Engine (“Engine,” “we,” “us”) is operated by GoViralPromo Limited, a company registered in Nigeria, under its GoViralPromo brand. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

From LinkedIn (when you connect your account):

• Your name, email address, and profile picture
• Your LinkedIn member identifier (used to publish posts to your profile)
• An access token that lets us publish content to your LinkedIn profile on your behalf, and (where available) a refresh capability to maintain that connection

We request only the LinkedIn permissions needed to sign you in and post on your behalf (Sign In with LinkedIn, Share on LinkedIn). We do not request, and cannot access, your LinkedIn connections, private messages, or any other members’ data.

Information you provide directly:

• Your content preferences: topics/pillars, tone, posting days, and any content you ask us not to generate (“hard-no’s”)
• If you use the product-promotion feature: details about a product or service you want featured in your content
• Payment information, processed directly by our payment providers (see Section 4) — we never see or store your full card number

Information generated through your use of the service:

• Draft posts generated on your behalf, and your approval/edit/rejection history for each
• Timestamps of when posts are generated, approved, and published

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate draft LinkedIn posts matching your stated preferences
• To publish approved posts to your LinkedIn profile, only after your explicit approval of each individual post
• To send you draft-approval notifications and post-publish nudges by email
• To process your subscription payment and manage your trial/subscription status
• To operate our referral program
• To maintain and improve the reliability of the service (e.g., detecting failed posts, monitoring for abuse)

We do not use your data to train AI models, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. How Your Draft Content Is Generated

Generating your draft posts involves sending your stated topics, tone preferences, and (if applicable) product details to third-party AI language model providers for text generation. These providers process this information solely to generate a draft in response to our request; we do not send them your LinkedIn credentials, payment information, or private account details. A deterministic filter and (for new drafts) separate content and safety checks run on every draft before it’s shown to you, regardless of what any AI provider already checked.

4. Third Parties We Share Data With

We use third-party service providers to operate GoViralPromo Engine. These providers process information according to their applicable terms, privacy policies, and our arrangements with them:

For AI-assisted content generation and review, draft-generation requests may be processed using Google Gemini, Groq, or Cerebras, depending on availability and fallback handling. We send the content and preferences needed to perform the generation task. We do not send these AI providers your LinkedIn access token or full payment-card information.

5. Data Security

LinkedIn access tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) before being stored in our database — even in the unlikely event of a database-only breach, stored tokens are not usable without our separately held encryption key. We do not store full payment card numbers; these are handled entirely by Paystack and Flutterwave.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing ceo@goviralpromo.com. Upon deletion, we will remove your stored LinkedIn tokens, draft history, and profile preferences, except where we are required to retain limited payment records for legal or accounting purposes.

7. Your Rights

If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with equivalent data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at ceo@goviralpromo.com.

8. Children’s Privacy

This service is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18 years of age.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or an in-app notice before they take effect.
